TestSprite CLI Goes Open Source: Coding Agents Fix and Retest Themselves Overnight
future_coded · x · 2026-10-14
TestSprite's CLI is now open source. The author demos a dev loop where "sleep is part of the loop": a coding agent works through the night, and its definition of done is TestSprite's integration tests passing against the running app. Each failure returns the broken step plus a fix prompt the agent can act on, so it fixes and retests autonomously instead of waiting for you.
The product page frames the core gap: writing code got faster, proving it works didn't. Their public measurement across ten CoderCup build phases found a single change quietly breaks 12–25% of what worked. Claimed traction: 100,000+ developers and 50,000+ teams.
