Claude Code session startles dev with a familiar name — turns out it's MCP Agent Mail

A developer briefly panicked seeing "GrayBasin" in his Claude Code session, suspecting @garybasin had hacked his endpoint — it was just MCP Agent Mail naming one of his orchestrated agents. MCP Agent Mail is an open-source coordination layer for coding agents: project-scoped identity, threaded inboxes, reservation guardrails, and searchable audit trails backed by SQLite + Git with a Rust core, advertising 380 MCP coordination primitives and passing all 10 stress-test scenarios.
