EvalSeal adds RFC 3161 timestamp verification for third-party checkable LLM eval receipts
Fit_Fortune953 · reddit · 2026-10-14
Open-source EvalSeal makes LLM eval results verifiable after the fact. New main-branch work adds RFC 3161 timestamp signature validation with a verifier-supplied trust root, RSA/ECDSA and SHA-256/384/512 support, clearer checked/not-checked messaging, and a real recorded TSA fixture from freetsa.org. A telling bug: the verifier assumed SHA-256+RSA but the real token used ECDSA+SHA-512. Existing features cover repeated runs, per-case verdict strips, evaluator fingerprinting, drift classification, signed ledger heads, PR receipts and CI gates. A draft PR evalseal evidence tackles how many repeated runs suffice to trust instability numbers.
