SaaS founder tibomaker shares his experience with Squad (squad.so), a product offering 'AI teammates' that connect to your tools, understand context, and autonomously execute scheduled work: invoice chasing, inbox triage, weekly reports, cold outreach, support replies, bookkeeping prep and more.
He admits the AI teammates are remarkably independent and capable, but the tradeoff is huge mental load: his output is 10x last year's, and it's hard to keep up with everything happening. The product uses your existing ChatGPT/Claude subscriptions to power multiple AI personas, with human approval gates for sensitive actions like refund emails.
