Open-source Clearcam (1.8k GitHub stars, GPL-3.0) upgrades any RTSP security camera with AI: YOLOv9-based object detection and OC-SORT tracking, mobile notifications via Home Assistant/Pushover/n8n, AI event summaries powered by Qwen3-VL, target-based video search with natural-language queries, and an iOS companion app (some features Premium). Built in Python as a self-hosted NVR + inference stack for Mac/Linux/Windows, managed via browser.
