Anthropic's Claude Startups program received 21x as many applications in one week as in the previous five months combined. The company says the current cohort is full, paused all open applications, and has no timeline for the next cohort. One developer, 5 months into the program with a real product, one-year track record and official incorporation, says an auto-review kicked him out — he could see $1k credits but not the team plan, with a "cohort is full" message. He questions whether Anthropic is randomly removing members and says outreach to the company has gone unanswered.
