Signature MCP: a free Mac menu bar app that lets AI agents request your handwritten signature
Beneficial-Mind-5932 · reddit · 2026-10-14
A developer released Signature MCP, a free Mac App Store menu-bar app that runs a local MCP server so AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc.) can request your handwritten signature. When a document needs signing, a window opens showing the PDF; you draw a fresh signature with trackpad or mouse and the agent gets the signed PDF back.
- Safety: every request shows which AI app is asking; signatures are never stored and files sent to the agent are deleted after 10 minutes
- Local only: no account, no tracking
- Supports company name/role/stamp under the signature; it's a simple e-signature, not a qualified one
Setup is a pasted prompt or a one-line claude mcp add command.
