Luigi Acerbi announced the release of PyVBBC 1.5, the Bayesian model inference library, three years after its previous version, with a long list of improvements. The team also published a 3-minute video explaining how it works. PyVBMC targets Bayesian posterior inference for expensive black-box models, a common need in parameter calibration.
