- d2r-mobile, an open-source project by jhaizhou-ops, has gone viral with 1.4k GitHub stars and 500 forks.
- It's an iOS/macOS compatibility layer that ports Diablo II: Resurrected (with the Reign of the Warlock expansion) from a user's own Switch copy to run natively on iPhone, iPad and Mac — not an emulator.
- Features: full touch controls, 60 fps, new endgame modes. MIT-licensed, requires users to bring their own game files.
- Per reposts, other Switch titles like Animal Crossing, Zelda BOTW, Mario Odyssey and Silksong have also been ported.
