Fake OpenAI/Anthropic Calendly links are hijacking X accounts via OAuth prompts
jiayuan_jy · x · 2026-10-14
A user warns that scammers impersonating OpenAI and Anthropic are hijacking X accounts. A screenshot shows a con artist pivoting from friendly DMs about setting up "Multica as a Claude connector" to sending a Calendly booking link on the spoofed domain calendly.anthropictteams... (double-t), which requests X account authorization.
The takeaway: never authorize X access through Calendly-style booking links, no matter how legitimate the pitch looks.
