jedisct1 · x · 2026-10-14
A new frontier result on the ECDSA.fail quantum-breaking challenge by jieyilong reaches 893 physical qubits x 2.2M Toffolis, shaving 25% off the qubit requirements of recent proposals from IonQ, Orbit and Google's March best (1,175 qubits x 2.7M Toffolis). The site's Pareto-frontier chart shows records of 697 qubits and 761,156 Toffolis, now 68.6% ahead of Google's classified circuit. The public challenge invites anyone to submit circuits that could break ECDSA signatures.
