Beff claims TSUs paired with GPUs will deliver 100x perf-per-watt via disaggregated inference
beffjezos · x · 2026-10-14
Extropic founder Beff Jezos says that starting next year, TSUs (thermodynamic processing units) can run alongside GPUs via disaggregated inference to achieve 100x perf-per-watt, claiming this will avert a GPU bubble burst. Quoted context from Gavin Baker: with disaggregated inference, Blackwell GPUs could stay useful for over 10 years, with fresh SRAM accelerators bolted in front of a B200 five years later.
