NVIDIA open sources full Run:ai platform for GPU orchestration in DSX AI Factory
elonmusk · x · 2026-10-14
NVIDIA has released the complete Run:ai platform as open source, forming the AI workload and GPU orchestration foundation of its DSX AI Factory Platform.
The release ships four independently adoptable components:
- KAI Scheduler: GPU-aware Kubernetes scheduling
- GPU Fractioning Operator: CUDA-native GPU sharing
- KAI Resource Management: org-level quotas and hierarchy
- Workload Map: a consistent workload-management contract
Eight DSX ecosystem partners including Crusoe, Mirantis, Nebius, and Saturn Cloud are integrating the platform. Companion open source projects Model Streamer (faster model loading) and Grove (multi-component inference orchestration) are also available.
