Poxiao Intelligence unveils SeePhysHub, a wearable rig adding full-body motion and touch to Ego robot data

Poxiao Intelligence (PHANESAI), with supply-chain partner Tianlong, launched SeePhysHub, a wearable data-collection system designed to recover what pure egocentric video misses: body motion and tactile signals.
- Rig: a four-camera headset (≤220g), two wrist bands, three torso/leg motion trackers, and an optional haptic glove, with camera/IMU/UWB sync under 0.5ms.
- Approach: sparse IMU/UWB nodes plus vision algorithms reconstruct full-body pose; the glove captures contact pressure so video actions come with physical signals.
- Trade-offs: early tests found gloves interfere with tasks like dishwashing and inject noise (e.g., phantom pressure readings), so glove and bands can be used separately.
- Positioning: founder Yang Shuo (a 27-year-old HIT Shenzhen professor) places it in the middle layer of a data pyramid between internet video and costly mocap/real-robot data.
The team's real goal is a full-modal world model planned for 2027; SeePhysHub exists because the interaction data such a model needs can't be collected cheaply at scale. They previously released EgoTouch, TouchAnything, and TouchWorld.
