Physical Intelligence has announced the beta release of the Pi API. The company has already partnered with teams across diverse industries to adapt its general-purpose robotics models to their robots and applications — from strawberry harvesting to server assembly — and is now opening access to more teams.
Formic adds that 150 factories are already running Formic robots powered by these models, with more coming. General-purpose robot foundation models are moving from demos to real production lines.
