OpenAI reportedly in talks to buy Trail of Bits, raising crypto audit conflicts

Cryptographer Matthew Green amplified a report that OpenAI is in talks to acquire security audit firm Trail of Bits, which maintains Slither and Echidna and has audited Uniswap, Aave, and Worldcoin. If an AI lab owns the firm much of crypto trusts for audits, people may ask who checks the AI labs.
