MCP tool lets AI agents call you on WhatsApp when they get stuck on a decision
Augusto_pinheiro · reddit · 2026-10-14
A developer building Hasos created an MCP tool that lets an AI agent initiate a WhatsApp voice call via OpenAI Realtime or xAI when stuck on a decision: the agent explains what it needs, and you answer verbally. With a callback configured, new requests made during the call go back to the original agent, which executes them with its existing tools and sends results back to be spoken. Example: the agent calls about a scheduling conflict, discusses alternatives, and updates the calendar after approval. The founder is soliciting feedback on required permissions and whether voice calls beat chat for decisions.
