Design files as plain JSON: open canvas works with any agent, no Figma MCP gatekeeping

A developer is building a design tool where design files are just code: a plain .folio JSON file with an HTML/CSS canvas that lives in your repo, works from the terminal, and needs no account. Unlike Figma gating its MCP to approved agents, it works with whatever agent you already use—demoed with Claude designing a landing page live. The underlying file being just JSON means any file-capable tool can manipulate the design directly.
