Building a fact-extraction pipeline that turns long-form prose into infographic cards
Honest_Medium_2872 · reddit · 2026-10-14
A Substack author shares an open-source pipeline: a Jev (tev1) classifier extracts and ranks facts from long-form prose, which feed a compiler that renders clean, information-dense infographic cards from Markdown/JSON/YAML/Jsonnet. The stack is designed to be deterministic, reproducible and auditable, partly vibe-coded with Claude. Repos: docker-chromium-screenshot and tev1-datapoint-extractor. Next steps: wiring it into a prose-to-audiobook pipeline and fine-tuning a Jev model for this classification task.
