Dad vibe-codes a rhythm-based Subway Surfers clone with Claude Code, free in browser
MrFelliks · reddit · 2026-10-14
A dad built a free browser Subway Surfers clone (struna.ai) almost entirely with Claude Code for his 7-year-old son. Levels are generated from the music: kicks become jumps, snares slides, held notes long ceilings; the chorus always yields the same obstacles, and a villain AI cursor deletes the floor before each drop. Claude wrote the audio analysis, level generator and mocap stick-figure animation; a headless-browser bot beatplays every song to verify a perfect run is possible and fixes the generator otherwise. His son files bugs from inside the game for Claude to fix.
