Azadux released RightClick-Utilities, an open-source (MIT) Windows 11 app built with Tauri that adds a right-click submenu in Explorer for custom file operations.
Key features:
- Compress video under 15 MB or 20 MB (full duration preserved, actual output size verified, decimal MB)
- Remove audio track without re-encoding the video stream
- Outputs saved beside originals with protected filenames
- ffprobe-based validation rejects audio files, images, and fake videos
The author had wanted such a tool for years and one-shot it with an AI agent, encouraging others to ask their agent to add their own commonly used functions.
