A demonstration claims the PS5's security hypervisor has been defeated. The hypervisor acts as the top gatekeeper of the console: while ordinary vulnerabilities stay localized, breaking this high-privilege isolation layer could grant deeper system control, opening the door for homebrew, debugging, and security research.
