SteerClaw Mobile brings a fully local, private agent loop to your phone
Salamander_Perfect · reddit · 2026-10-14
A solo developer released SteerClaw Mobile (iOS TestFlight / Google Play), described as 'Claude CoWork for local LLMs that runs on your phone': the entire agent loop runs on-device, with users connecting their own model, MCP servers, and search providers. All LLM processing happens on the user's local server; the app collects no data or analytics.
Inspired by running Qwen3.8 on an RTX 4090, the author uses it for daily queries, research, audiobooks, analyzing AWS logs, and pulling business metrics from Posthog — and says they no longer need Claude/Codex on their phone. The stated vision: do everything agents like Muse can do, without any data leaving the phone.
