A 90KB browser physics engine written in Rust with Argon: 20K bodies, 2K collisions
LinusEkenstam · x · 2026-10-14
LinusEkenstam, working with Gemini 4 Argon, is building "the smallest, most lightweight physics-based 3D engine ever" — written entirely in Rust, running in the browser with no packages or engines. After hitting limits at 2,000 bodies, tuning brought it to roughly 20,000 simultaneous physics bodies with around 2,000 simultaneous collisions, plus water simulation, all at about 90KB. The demo shows 10,000 simulated bodies falling and colliding.
