Open-source new-term-radar catches new AI model and product names before keyword tools do
sujingshen · x · 2026-10-14
The author open-sourced new-term-radar (855 GitHub stars, MIT), a daily radar for surging AI terms that they use themselves, now also usable via Claude skills and MCP. The insight: by the time keyword tools surface a new term, it's one to two weeks late, so the radar scrapes where names appear first — labs and bloggers on X, newly trending Hugging Face models, exploding GitHub repos, and new pages in competitors' sitemaps. It targets people doing AI SEO who build pages, posts, or products around new terms.
