Devs say context compaction is good enough now — drop the window anxiety

LLMJunky argues Anthropic's compaction is now good enough that the 'dumb zone' is gone — just let it rip, or orchestrate subagents if anxious. brandongalang agrees: since the GPT 5.3 codex days he hasn't cared about compaction even with non-GPT models; his workflow is running one or two context windows to scope the task, writing tasks/beads, then stepping through them one at a time or delegating to fresh agents.
