OpenDocRouter launches unified API for document parsing across frontier and OSS models
llama_index · x · 2026-10-14
OpenDocRouter launched a unified API that turns PDFs and images into structured Markdown (headings, tables, figures) using frontier models like Gemini and Luna plus OSS options like LightOnOCR-3 and MinerU2.5-pro.
Pages run as parallel model calls with per-page status, free retries on failures, and charges only for successful pages. Models ship with versioned parsing recipes and Parsebench benchmarks; new accounts get $5 free credit.
