Marketers are noticing ChatGPT openly dismisses self-promotional listicles when researching buying decisions. One user doing client work saw it go straight to Reddit for first-hand experiences and state that "vendor sponsored comparison articles also deserve less weight than independent reviews," without even citing the listicles. The era of self-promo roundup posts may be ending.
