IIT Kharagpur and Fermi AI launched the NDLI-FERMI Learning Enabled AI Tutor and a free GATE-JAM preparation platform in Kolkata on October 12, as part of the institute's platinum jubilee. Integrated into India's National Digital Library, the tutor uses a Socratic, guided approach with hints to help students reason step by step, while the exam platform targets rural and economically disadvantaged learners to reduce cost and location barriers.
