Google announced the global rollout of Gemini 4 Argon via the Gemini API, the Gemini app for Pro + Ultra subscribers, and Ultra subs in Antigravity, saying the model was battle-tested by over 100,000 Googlers over the past month.
Developer burkov publicly pushed back: he removed Gemini 3.8 Flash from ChapterPal's document processing pipeline because rival Luna delivers the same quality at up to 10x lower cost, urging Google to match GPT-6 Luna's pricing with its Flash models.
