Claude + MCP pulls product data on its own: spots 6.8% enterprise opt-out that the model alone couldn't see
aakashgupta · x · 2026-10-14
A demo shows the same Claude model producing very different outputs with and without data access. Via MCP connected to product analytics, Claude autonomously analyzed a Smart Reminders launch: 23% overall adoption (1,106/4,812 workspaces), SMB adopting at 24.6% with 1.9% opt-out, enterprise at 15.8% with 6.8% opt-out—double the average. Its verdict: a solid SMB win, weak enterprise result; next steps: pause enterprise expansion and interview admins. The lesson: Agent = Model + Harness, and the harness—one data connection—changed everything.
