A Reddit user benchmarked local image and video generation on an AMD 9070 XT (32GB DDR5, 7600X3D, Ubuntu 26.04, ROCm 10.1, comfy kitchen attention), all at 1MP:
- Ideogram4 fp8, 20 steps: 0.76it/s, 27.5s — 52% faster
- Krea 2 fp8, 8 steps: 1.17it/s, 8.5s — 52% faster
- Qwen Image 2.1 t2i, 30 steps: 1.10it/s, 25s
- Anima 2B, 30 steps: 2.61it/s, 12.3s — 52% faster
- MiniMax H3 pruned int8 convrot, 0.4MP 5s 20-step t2v: 0.2it/s, 131s
The 52% gains are vs. the author's own run 4 months ago on ROCm 7.2 with PyTorch attention; they offer to test other models and settings on request.
