Ethan Mollick called Gemini 4 a big jump over previous models — the first non-OpenAI/Anthropic model to pass the Fable/Mythos/Astra bar, more agentic, and free of the Gemini 3 series' personality quirks. Braydon Dymm replied with a screenshot roasting the UI: Gemini 4 generated an absurdly intricate 'Brutalist city builder & regional simulator' complete with axonometric views, a tectonic inspector and city telemetry panels — impressive capability, comically dense interface.
