Scuba emerges from stealth with $34M to build shared context engine for teams and agents
Scobleizer · x · 2026-10-14
Noah Weiss and Dolapo launched Scuba out of stealth with $34M (Accel-led pre-seed, Accel & IVP co-led seed) for a "shared context engine" for teams and their agents. Thesis: models are no longer intelligence-bound but context-constrained. Scuba acts as shared memory plugged into Slack, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible tool. Angels include Stewart Butterfield, Patrick Collison, Reid Hoffman, and Mike Krieger. The team claims to run the whole company on it with under two hours of meetings a week.
