Claude designs an anti-corruption system of government end-to-end, with one login assist
footofwrath · reddit · 2026-10-14
A Reddit user asked Claude to design a system of government that resists corruption and makes cheating expensive. The webpage and ideas were essentially all Claude's own work: the only primer was a prior essay on a similar topic (itself mostly Claude-written), and Claude built everything end-to-end in the desktop app with just a publishing login as assistance.
The result is live at proposals.engineeringhumanity.org. The author's bigger question: does this tell us anything about whether Claude would behave appropriately if given extended powers? The post is sparking discussion about model behavior and alignment.
