CyberRobooo · x · 2026-10-14
At CEATEC 2026, Honda showed a split-screen teleop demo of its Avatar Robot: an operator wearing a VR headset and haptic gloves is mirrored in real time by the robot, which uses a multi-finger hand on a socket wrench to tighten a bolt on a metal part.
Official specs: 1700 mm tall, 110 kg, 56 DoF, dual 16-DoF hands, with AI-assisted control. Positioned for places people struggle to reach—maintenance, care, disaster sites, space—while the human stays in the loop.
