One hand-drawn sketch was all she gave Codex to build the Tooly app prototype

Developer aerdnac shared how she built Tooly, a digital toolbox app, by giving OpenAI Codex a single hand-drawn sketch of a red toolbox with 3D drawers. In the second iteration, drawers carry category labels that scroll into view; tapping opens a drawer and selecting a tool reveals its name, description, and material—mimicking the physical toolbox interaction. The tweet was retweeted by OpenAI Devs, and she notes a weekend sketch became a prototype users are already enjoying and requesting features for.
