Gemini 4 Argon battle-tested by 100,000 Googlers, ships with 1M token output
OfficialLoganK · x · 2026-10-14
Google's Logan Kilpatrick detailed the Gemini 4 Argon rollout: global availability via the Gemini API, Gemini app (Pro/Ultra) and Antigravity (Ultra). The model was battle-tested by over 100,000 Googlers over the past month, built across 6 months of work spanning research, infra, safety and engineering. It was delivered early to cyber defenders via the fairwind program. Highlights include writing capability, persistence for coding, and up to 1M token output when the model needs to work longer. He frames it as the start of the Gemini 4 era, with iteration speed continuing.
