Gemini 4 Argon leaks: early user calls it a real Opus rival at $2/$10 per M tokens

An early-access user reports Gemini 4 Argon is a genuine contender against astra and Opus — producing SOTA-matching games, SVGs and 3D models, not just benchmaxing — with an aggressive $2/$10 per million token price until end of November.

The weak spot is Google's harness and culture: its Spark rival can't handle sign-ins (no x/reddit/youtube), has a clunky cloud computer, can't browse its own generated files, locks users to 40 partner apps, hides which model is actually running, and can't even sign in multiple Gmail accounts. Writing is better than old Gemini but below astra/Opus, and memory lags far behind.

The author argues Google has done the hard part (training a frontier model this strong) and expects it to catch up, but says it's now unclear who wins the harness arms race among Google, OpenAI and Anthropic. (Unconfirmed leak)
