MIT CSAIL's InstructMesh makes genAI 3D models you can actually 3D print

MIT CSAIL unveiled InstructMesh, a tool tackling a known weakness of generative AI: 3D models it produces are often physically flawed and hard to edit.
InstructMesh lets users generate, iteratively tweak, and 3D print objects that actually work in the real world — demonstrated with decor and medical devices. Demo imagery shows a dragon mug going from editable model to printed object.
