Hugging Face is hosting "Open Together: AI Builders Unite" on Oct 16, the opening night of Open Source AI Week, at The Midway in San Francisco, free to attend:
- 6-9pm meetup with community demos, followed by a DJ dance party
- Co-hosts include Arcee AI, Ai2, Unsloth, Nous Research, vLLM, LMSYS, GitHub, Anyscale
- Collectible HF swag for the first 100 builders; 36 community demo spots open for applications
- Theme: "The AI revolution will not be centralized" — celebrating open models
