Foxglove founder: billions of autonomous machines are coming, and infra is the bottleneck
Sethwinterroth · x · 2026-10-13
Foxglove co-founder Adrian MacNeil restated the company's two non-consensus theses: autonomous machine technology already works (self-driving cars in San Francisco) and will scale to billions of machines this decade; and infrastructure — data, simulation, training, and fleet infra — was the biggest burden for first-gen AV companies, so the next generation of physical AI startups will need great off-the-shelf infrastructure to succeed.
