Gemini API now serves Antigravity agent in a managed Linux sandbox per call
clmt · x · 2026-10-13
- The Gemini API now offers the Antigravity agent as a managed service: one API call via the Interactions API (antigravity-preview-09-2026) spins up its own isolated Linux sandbox, powered by Gemini 3.8 Flash by default, where it plans, writes and runs code, browses the web, and manages files.
- A persistent /workspace keeps files and packages across runs; sandboxes snapshot and stop after 15 minutes idle and can be resumed by environmentid for 7 days. Add a trigger (e.g. cron) and it runs on a schedule, picking up right where it left off.
