JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon warns that giving AI agents access to bank accounts carries serious security and liability risks, and that customers must understand responsibility for misuse could shift when third-party AI tools touch their finances. JPMorgan will restrict outside AI agents from its systems while building customer protections: "We're not going to allow just any outside agent to come in."
Rob Leclerc goes further: agents will become so useful that consumers will rearrange service providers around whoever treats their agents as first-class citizens — a tectonic shift for business models built on friction and habit.
