Developer jamesdouma agrees with esrtweet's observation that he is losing his terror of system administration, saying that using an agent for Unix (and network) admin changes the game.
In his experience the agent does all the unpleasant parts for you, which makes him much more ambitious about his system setup and much less frustrated with the process. The original poster notes he has reluctantly been a Unix sysadmin for decades and always hated it, partly because problems often cannot be fully solved.
