Taliri: A Chrome Extension That Swaps Words in Pages You Read Into Your Target Language
theteknosaur · x · 2026-10-13
The author built Taliri, a Chrome extension for language learning that lives inside your existing reading habit instead of another app to open: a few words on pages you already read (X, Substack, articles, news) get swapped into the language you're learning.
- Hover a swapped word to see its meaning; the system tracks which words are sticking
- Hints fade as you learn: a demo follows the Spanish word "taza" (cup) through one week — hoverable on Monday, hint-free on Thursday, quizzed outright by Sunday
Launching Thursday. A neat indie take on immersive, habit-embedded learning.
