ff-tracking: an open-source film of an AI agent's screen where every pixel and sound is code
PurzBeats · x · 2026-10-13
ff-tracking (MIT, 355 stars) uses a virtual camera to film an AI agent's screen while a tracker locks onto every glyph it types. Six seconds of 1080p output come from just two fframes passes and one SkSL shader — no footage, no stock audio; every pixel and sound is synthesized from code. The sequel ff-unmute makes it audible: music written in code, with every on-screen number measurable from the sound. Built with Rust and Skia/SkSL, includes a quick-start guide.
