Token Arcade: open-source browser game teaches how LLM tokens and probabilities work
nicodotdev · x · 2026-10-13
Developer nicodotdev released Token Arcade, an open-source interactive toy that makes the prompt-vs-constraints distinction tangible: players step through probability distributions, token choices, rejected continuations with explanations, chasing a 100/100 score with challenges like building a tiny JSON creature one token at a time.
It runs Google's Gemma 4 entirely in the browser via Transformers.js + WebGPU, with the model downloaded on first visit. Code is available on GitHub.
