User forced to cancel tickets via sluggish AI bot that replies with empty promises
cneuralnetwork · x · 2026-10-13
A user shared a screenshot of their only option to cancel movie tickets: chatting with the venue's AI bot "DIA." After asking about the cancellation fee and refund, the bot took about three minutes to reply with a boilerplate "I will provide you with the details of the cancellation fee and refund amount as per the policy" — and then nothing.
The post hits a common pain point of customer-service AI: slow responses, polite filler instead of answers, and no way to reach a human.
