huashu-chrome open-sources: let any AI agent drive your Chrome with full login state
AlchainHust · x · 2026-10-13
Developer AlchainHust open-sourced huashu-chrome (MIT, 285 stars), letting any AI agent control your own Chrome with all your login state—no API keys, re-logins, or captcha handling. It ships as five parts (npm package, CLI, MCP server, local bridge on 127.0.0.1, Chrome extension) exposing 22 browser tools, and works with Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Cline, and Windsurf. A standout feature is human-in-the-loop handoff: when the agent needs user info or takeover, it focuses the browser and shows on-page instructions, and the user can message the agent back—demonstrated with an npm publish security-key verification flow. Typical use: ask the agent to fill 30 CRM entries in your already-logged-in CRM.
